ABOUT
Pietu Arvola is a musician, sound designer and experimental video artist.
Under the alias Bereen Ondo, Arvola creates experimental electronic music which blends electroacoustic sound sources and field recordings. In addition he makes experimental videos in which he uses CRT TVs and analogue video modules to process both digital and analogue video sources.
His works have been part of Helsinki Design Week, National Museum of Finland, New York Fashion Week, Minimalen Film Festival and many more. For more works, see portfolio.

Video work
VIDEO WORK
Pietu Arvola creates experimental video works, using CRT TVs and analogue hardware to process 4K video footage, found VHS tapes, AI-based ideas and 3D experimentations, among other sources. His video works have been featured at festivals like Trondheim's Minimalen Film Festival (upcoming 2023), Pori Film Festival, Mitäs Mitäs Mitäs and Outoja Tiloja.
In addition to his own works, he has created live visuals and music videos for NYOS, Harri Kuusijärvi, Tatu Rönkkö, Cucina Povera, Lau Nau, Marja Ahti, Horte, Sumuposauttaja and Musta Huone to name a few.
